Dougal: Two blogs in a row dedicated to our canine friend Georgie and you know who we haven’t asked to blog?  Miss Holly.  I think we’re in trouble bro!

Hamish: You’re not wrong.  Mom’s texted to ask her if she’d like to join in.

Dougal: Well, this one is just about us!  Did you see the vole I brought home this morning?  I was rather chuffed with myself.

Hamish: Indeed, although, you know, I’m more of a mouse man myself.  Unfortunately, the parents seem to have quite a success rate with saving them lately.  I don’t think they appreciate our efforts Dougie.  Dad even saved that rabbit over the weekend.  Disappointing ‘cos it took quite an effort to catch him and get him through the cat flap.  Anyway, didn’t you cause a mega worry?

Dougal: I know.

Hamish: And not just Mom and Dad, Uncle Malc and Auntie Dawn were worried too.

Dougal: I know.

Hamish: Is that all you can meow boy?

Dougal: Truth be told bro, I was just too hot!  You spent most of the day hiding under the rhubarb leaves.

Hamish: True, but Mom knows that’s my cool spot so it was fine and I did turn up for breakfast and lunch, oh yes, and supper.  You went out after supper on Sunday and didn’t come home until 6am on Tuesday.  Mom was nearly in melt-down and I even went looking for you.  Where on earth did you go?

Dougal: I’ll tell you but not here, it’s a secret.

Hamish: OK, but I think you owe a lot of cuddles to apologise for that one.

Dougal: They’ll all have to wait until the weather cools down bro, all this fur makes you a tad hot.

♫♫ Feeling, hot, hot, hot……….. ♫♫

Have you tried this new cool pebble treatment Hamie?

Hamish: I’m not sure what to meow…….
