Hamish:
Dougie and I take most things in our stride but yesterday morning something happened that really spooked us. It was warm and the patio doors were open.
Dougal:
Our favourite sort of day. We can relax in the sun and our staff (aka Mom and Dad) are close to the kitchen should we need an emergency dish of food or a treat.
Hamish:
Indeed Dougie. So, to continue with the story, we were doing what we do best when suddenly, without warning, the glass in the patio door exploded. Wow! Did we jump.
Dougal:
Not quite as high as Dad who was standing next to it.
Hamish:
Indeed. However, that isn’t really the reason for our latest blog.
Dougal:
It isn’t?
Hamish:
No. The et al. bit is more important.
Dougal:
You’ve lost me.
Hamish:
OK, I’ll explain.
You know that Auntie Dawn and Uncle Malc foster for Cat Rescue West Wales? Well, they have a new little chap who has just moved in with them until he finds his forever home. I was planning to welcome him and add him to our WhatsCrapp group and it reminded me just how important the charity is to us felines. You and I are very lucky Dougie but vet bills are high and food costs are rising. Mom and Dad say that sometimes this leaves cats and their humans in the litter, so as to meow. In the circumstances, the least we can do is give the charity a plug.
If you love cats, and we are notoriously irresistible, take a look at the website www.catrescuewestwales.co.uk
How about helping by going shopping? Mom and Dad tell us that the shop in St John Street in Whitland is full to bursting with interesting things.
Dougie:
Time for a nap?

Hamish:
Always time for a nap. Nice hat by the way!
